The Columbus Stone Company Inc.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS


Payment: The Columbus Stone Company Inc. accepts all major credit cards, including Visa, Master Card, Discover and American Express. We also accept payment by check but you must submit check with the following information printed on the check: full name, full address (no P.O. Boxes), phone number with area code, drivers license number and, birth date. Checks not containing this information will be returned and the order will not be processed. Starter checks are not accepted.

Surcharges:

  • A $40.00 return fee will be assessed on all returned check .
  • A $25.00 sectioning charge will be assessed for breaking pallets of material into smaller quantities.
  • We reserve the right to charge a pallet deposit of $20.00 per pallet for outgoing material. Please return your pallets.

Pricing

  • All prices are subject to change without notice. Current price will be charged at time of purchase.
  • On natural material, per ton price is only applicable to full pallets. Average 1-3 tons per pallet. Hand picking is changed per pound price only...No discounts, No exceptions.
  • If the composition of a pallet changes, a sectioning charge will apply.
  • One coupon per sale. Coupons cannot be combined or used on sale items. Coupons cannot be used on prior orders.
  • We apologize for any misprinted pricing, but are not responsible.

Returns

  • All returns must be approved by The Columbus Stone Company Inc., no exceptions!!
  • NOT REFUNDABLE: Bulk, dated, dirty or sale items; special orders, material that has been sectioned; Bulk/Broken pallet natural wall, flag, steps and outcropping
  • NO RETURNS WITHOUT RECEIPT. No exception!!
  • If a currency refund is allowed, refund will be given the same way paid, except for cash refunds over $25.00, then a check will be issued. Refund co check purchases must wait ten (10) business days.
  • There will be a 25% return and restocking fee.

Non-Warranty returns will only be accepted within 30 days of purchase. Contact The Columbus Stone Company Inc. to get Return Authorization Paperwork. Please provide us with your original order number. The Columbus Stone Company Inc. does not refund your original shipping and handling charges or your return shipping and handling charges. All returns must be in original packaging and original condition.

Warranty returns are subject to the manufacturers warranties. The Columbus Stone Company Inc. must be notified of all returns. Please provide us with your original order number along with a description of the problem. No warranty returns will be accepted after the products warranty has expired.

Yard Policies

  • All loads should be tarped.
  • Client assumes all responsibility when allowing The Columbus Stone Company Inc. to load vehicle.
  • The Columbus Stone Company Inc. will only load open bed trucks and trailers.
  • All calculations are approximate.
  • We are happy to help figure quantities but are not responsible for errors or omissions.
  • Order discrepancies must be noted on day of delivery or at time of pick-up.
  • Children must remain by parent's side at all times.
  • On all color blends, one color may be predominant or the only color visible.
  • All stones will have fines and dust due to the crushing process at the quarry.

Shipping: The Columbus Stone Company Inc. will contact you to set up delivery date and time if not done at the time of sale. Someone must be present at time of delivery to accept product if not prepaid. If no ones is present at time of delivery a second delivery charge and no-show fee will be required before we re-ship the order. All applicable charges will be applied.

  • Absolutely no deliveries off of paved or gravel surfaces.
  • No deliveries under utility lines (proper clearance is a must)
  • The Columbus Stone Company Inc. is not responsible for any damages to driveways and/or sidewalks when specific requests for placement have been made for deliveries. Property owner accepts full responsibility for any damages occurred under these circumstances
  • All deliveries will be scheduled for morning (8:00-12:00) or afternoon (12:00- 4:00)
  • A phone call will be given one hour prior to your delivery
